A group set up to work as a community to keep Bromsgrove beautiful, through regular litter picks, and other initiatives. Thanks for your support! #KeepBromsgroveBeautiful

We believe:

  • in the power of community and collaboration
  • that community spirit can move mountains
  • change starts with each one of us

Our aims:

  1. To foster a renewed sense of community spirit and pride in where we live, by leading from the front and setting an example

  2. To take action and raise awareness by encouraging everyone to look after their local environment and change habits for the better

  3. To visibly and practically take responsibility for certain environmental assets in Bromsgrove

If you are interested in leading a litter pick or starting a group, please get in touch.

How Can You Help?

There are many ways to get involved - but change starts with a single action.  Begin with a pledge to keep your building frontage clean!

Carry out a solo litter pick or join/lead a group one; report environmental/litter issues to the council; get your friends and neighbours involved

Student litter picks, supported by us, equipment sponsored; help us educate and empower students to make change; D of E students supported

Group litter picks, supported by us, equipment provided; opportunities to get involved in community initiatives; positive action for health and wellbeing

Sign up to our 'Clean Frontage' pledge; sponsorship opportunities; innovative ideas to support our aims and initiatives, and the local area

If all goes to plan with the government's roadmap out of lockdown, from April 1st we will, once again, be starting up our monthly litter picks on the last Saturday of the month!! Woohoo!!

We have a group of people who act as "area leads" who each co-ordinate a group litter pick in their local area and have litter picking equipment available for those who join the group to use.  We will begin with small group litter picks (6 people maximum, socially-distanced) - watch this space!

In the meantime, you can head out with household members; with one other person;  or on your own and do a litter pick as part of your daily exercise.  Contact us to borrow or purchase equipment.

Keep Bromsgrove Beautiful will also be supporting the annual Great British Spring Clean organised by Keep Britain Tidy.  The event has just been launched, and will take place from 28th May - 13th June.

Sorry, no events scheduled at the moment, check back soon.
